Mission & Vision
Our Mission is Three-folded:
1. Education.
2.Evangelism.
3.Economy.
Our goal is to reduce the barriers of education for deaf rural children in Benin so that they may be able to grow into healthy, faith-minded adults with great economic prospects. We believe in providing resources, education, and nurturing the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community in West Africa.
Education: To educate, reach, and nurture the Deaf in West Africa, we have established and operate Ephphatha Center for the Education and Training of the Deaf (CEEF). CEEF is our residential school in Hainde, Benin, as well as, the hub from where our programs are located.
Evangelism: We completed this mission by hosting an Annual Mission Trip where we travel to several West African countries. During our Mission trips, we provide bible studies, trainings for pastors, teachers, parents, host summer bible camps for students and adults, and host a huge Summer Camp on our school ground where all Deaf are welcomed to come and “hear the Good News”.
Economy: There are not a lot of jobs for the Deaf in Benin, due to inaccessibility and high unemployment rates. To bridge these gaps, our goal is to provide discipleship, connect students to vocational trainings, provide on-campus vocational learnings, and help connect and provide jobs to the community.
